    Just a couple of weeks ago PrimeSense opensourced their openNI library which is used for natural interaction interfaces. Together with openNI they released a binary version of a skeleton algorithm for developers.

    For the "Amsterdams Historisch Museum" we created the interactive part of the Man & Mode exhibition. Visitors get a RFID card which they use to create a personal profile using different interactive installations: PhotoBooth, "Like! tagger", etc.

    We love to work for Achtung! They've great concepts and aren't scared to try out new things. We created a banner for the the iPad which we created using plain HTML5 and Javascript.  Using the rotation sensor you can shake the ipad to move the icons around on the screen.

    Together with Dima Stefanova of icecreamdesign we've been working on an interactive installation which enables you to create your own small video.  The Scene Machine contains a collection of more than thousand video; all available to you at the Stadsarchief in Amsterdam. You're invited to come and have a look from 18th of November until the 5th of December.

    Martin and I are attending the "Poeme Numerique" masterclass being held during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.

     

    Baltan Laboratories, an art and technology lab based in Eindhoven, hosts a one-week masterclass as part of its Poeme Numerique research programme dedicated to the exploration of new strategies for integrated, interdisciplinary artistic practices in relation to the spatial experience and presentation of generative and interactive, digital media-based art. Through this practice-based masterclass for a multidisciplinary group of 10-15 Netherlands-based media artists, designers and architects, we aim to examine the importance of and integral approach to audio-visual content, interaction design and generative principles in relation to innovation in architecture and media technology. The masterclass will provide participants the context and opportunity to investigate new strategies for the future and expand their practice in this area through the extensive and diverse experience of 3 international masters: Golan Levin (US), Philippe Rahm (CH/FR) and David Rokeby (CA).
